1. Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus. It's an amazing book, fascinating and so beautifully written. Totally worthy of its buzz.

September is almost here, and for many, Labor Day weekend is summer's last hurrah. After a wilting two weeks in the high 90's, I'm ready to let the season go, and the crows calling in the oak outside my office window seem to agree. The final season of Lost premiered last night and yes, I'm starting to see where maybe some of this is going, but I expect to be at least partially wrong.

This week, I'm thankful for opportunities, possibilities and hope. For cool mornings, walks and friendship. For all the love in my life and for the chance and the will to make my dreams come true.

I'm also thankful for Stargate Atlantis, Roswell and the fact that season 5 of Supernatural premieres next week!  *bounces*
